how do u be happy
another debate i was having with a friend:
how do you guys "correctly" view lives of celebrities. what is your method to not feel jealous of their lives? and at what point does it becomes sour grapes?

Seriously, money to me is not a big enough deal that I'd put up with the trash they deal with daily. Butt-kissing, opportunistic, self-serving idiots all trying to get ahead are what you deal with on a daily basis. Where's the happiness in that? You can't spit without someone suing you, the media downplays your achievements and expands your failures, you rarely get a break, and you're always having to keep trying to stay on the top of the heap.
Again, where's the happiness in that?

Happiness in my mind (and at the end of the day, that's all that matters to me) is a direct consequence of how I choose (or manage to choose) to view or interpret any particular situation, life event or thing.
Therefore, when i manage to see things positively, I'm a 10. When I don't manage so well, I'm lower on this scale. Its that simple. But what is more empowering is knowing that you have the ability and the power to control where you want to be on that scale. The trick, as in all things in life, is just doing it more often than not.
Knowing PLYRS personally, he is definitely a righteous, arrogant ass, but clearly that's just a manifestation of the part of his personality that allows him to be 'happy' - that is, seeing the world as he chooses to see it, his own personal successes affirming that view, and then structuring his actions and thoughts to continue his happiness.
Don't be offended (this is the internet) - just understand that its the way he lives his life and he just chooses to communicate it in an arrogant, irritating kind of way.
