how do you deal with MEAT

Here is what I tell all vegetarians, and all those who are thinking about not eating meat.
In the united states, meat, is a business. Cows/Chickens/Whatever cost money to raise, which in turn will turn a profit when butchered and sold. Now, if the meat is not being sold, the farmers are losing money by the day. What do you think they are going to do? Keep at it? No way, they will find another way to make money, which involves killing the animal regardless. Moreover, eating meat, is at least for living purposes. Having leather seats in your s2k is a luxury. You should feel a lot worse about the seats, than you should about a good prime rib.

i think i'd be more humane if they just put a bullet through the cattle's head to kill it.

anyway... i have always eaten meat but in my opinion the animals deserve to die a better way than this video.
I cannot imagine having the job of cutting the throat of a living cow......
To make food "Kosher"
Mammals and fowl must be slaughtered in specific fashion: slaughter is done by a trained individual (a shochet) using a special method of slaughter, shechita. Among other features, shechita slaughter severs the jugular vein, carotid artery, esophagus and trachea in a single cut with an unserrated, sharp knife. Failure of one of these criteria renders the meat of the animal unsuitable. The body must be checked post-slaughter so as to be certain that the animal had no medical condition or defect that would have caused it to die of its own accord.
Blood must be removed as much as possible through the kashering process. However, if a minute amount remains after it is halachically schected (slaughtered) and salted and cooked, it is permissible. Removing the blood is often accomplished through soaking and salting the meat, by broiling it, or grilling it over an open flame.

I may be a little off and red-neck for this topic but it's really a dog eat dog world, honestly in the long run if we weren't eating the other herbivores out there the other carnivores would be anyway. I suppose this is a condition of, " stupidity is bliss" and what not but this is modern life. If we are supposed to be the superior being than so be it.

The cruel and unspeakable things we do to other humans make you wonder how civilized we really are. I say get over it..
If you don't wanna eat it, more for me.
I love meat and I don't think I can live without eating it. As originally from China, we eat a lot of stuff. Dog/Snake/Frog etc.
One thing is I do feel very sad for cows though. I heard pigs scream in high-pitched sound like crazy when they know they are going to be killed which annoys the hell out of the butcher.
Cows, on the other hand, don't make any sound and stay very quiet when they line up and know they're going to be killed. They actually drop tears before being butchered. I heard they cover the cow's face with some piece of cloth then smash its skull to kill.
