It seems like the trend of wearing a hat with flat visors has blown up here in NYC more than i thought! I went to the mall and stores had nothing but hats with flat visors. What a waste of time. I personally hate the way it looks but everyone has their own style so its all goods. Whats your take on this? Of course you can bend the visor but around here everyone wears it flat. Vote and post up!!

Unless you're shooting a rap video, you should wear it curved/bent.

 

the flat billed ones are actually completely different style than bent bill ones. The flat billed hats with the gold stickers on them n such actually have shorter bills that are meant to be flat like that (as made popular by rappers/rap videos etc.), they also have a different shape to the dome (or whatever you call the part that goes over your head) than the ones that come curved do. more circular instead of oval shaped so that you can wear them further back on your head and off to the side or whatever like most teenagers do now, as the ones with curved bills have more of an oval shape to actually fit on your head like a hat is supposed to. its all a fad.

this is at least in my encounter with hats at hat stores and such. not saying all that come flat billed are this way

 

I don't wear hats too often, but I think it looks rediculous when you got some hat on with a gold sticker stuck to it and the price tag hang off the side.


My friends made fun of me when I bought me an arizona wildcats hat that wasn't fitted(couldn't find one)

 

you can tell a lot about a person by the way they wear their hat, IMHO. Someone who wears it with a curved bill, whether facing forward or backwards, is just being who they are. Someone wearing a hat like it just came out of the box, or intentionally flat, especialy when it is turned to the side, is trying to be someone they aren't. I hate when politicians put on a hat without bending the visor so it fits first, but I understand what they are trying to do. I hate hate hate the guys trying to be all hiphoppy with the fag-tags and straight bill/crooked hat syndrome.

I like to wear my had flat billed and sort of on top of my head rather than pulled onto my head. It's really cool.

 

I wear a beret...no brim no problem, not even a real front or back either.

 

I wear a beanie.
