Yeah...but you spend an average of $200 per month on p0rn sites...and Google has found a way to make $ of that too... I'm sure.

You can also make money based on impressions as opposed to clicks. We charge for just about everything on our websites be it sponsorships, banners, pop ups, pop unders, rovian, etc. One of the biggest issues that we have is the fact there is no industry standard for measuring delivery. Even though our ad servers measure delivery we currently defer to outside 3rd party data if the agancy/advertiser questions our numbers.

He got me on the redtube.com as well (a few months ago). Had never heard of it. I've learned my lesson and now google it before I click on a link.

when this company depleted their venture capital and they needed to start turning a profit, they were real hesitant and confused of what business model to pick. maybe back then the image a web company was not well understood. google happed later.

google
really closed up the search engine thingy when they started to offer spell checking. and heck they did a good job of it. seems most of what google has done has been innovative and reliable.
