Looks can get you far - it's just a fact of nature. Most of the guys I hear that moan about how easy those with looks have it will bend over backward for a cute girl. People tend to use the toolset they're given.

Same thing happens in regards to our interaction with other animals. Snakes and spiders - abhorrent to most, manily due to their appearance - but a fluffy puppy? Everyone loves them.

Just the way it is.

You'd do exactly the same thing if you were her I'd bet. Remember, you wouldn't know what you know now if you grew up has she did. Women with good looks do get a lot of perks because horny men dominate the earth, just the facts of life. But as previously mentioned, I've never seen a hot 65 year old woman, muchless 85.

Between 15 and 65, they all fall back to equilibrium. Some have adapted and will still succeed. The others just have farther to fall. Word to the wise for guys out there-don't get conned in to marrying a girl because she is pretty. That seems common sensical but I see it happen all too often. if you can only put up with her because she has a great ass, one kid and 33lbs later you will be trying to hang yourself. My current girl friend is very attractive but she's got some loose screws. If she even gets "marria-" out of her mouth I'm already in the next room with the TV volume maxxed out. No way in HELL. Her good looks are satisfying her needs for now, but the reasons why she's with me will probably remain consistent for most of my life. I'll take that deal.

 

One particular aspect that no one has hit on yet is that good looks (and KNOWING you are attractive to others) also dramatically increases confidence. I would personally say that being confident, due to looks, money, intelligence or whatever is a greater driving factor in people "getting what they want". A confident person can carry an aura about them that you just know they are by looking. Charisma may be a better word. Of course, you can be confident without looks, money etc, but it sure helps re-enforce the mentality. People crave that charisma/confidence, if not from themselves, then they'll get it from someone else "I'm with So-and-so who is so rich/wealthy/hot...".

The key is mental "catering"

To stereotype the confidence aspect...

Take a very attractive woman who relies on looks to get guys to pay her way, and she knows she is good looking enough to do so, so she does.
Add the average looking but incredibly wealthy guy. He doesnt have the looks, but he knows the money can speak volumes to the right person.

Girl wants money and uses her looks for it.
Rich guy wants attention from an attractive girl and will gladly pay for it.
They are feeding their inherent wants.

Girl gets ugly? guy is gone
Guy loses his shirt... gal is history

 

My thoughts on the topic? Be responsible for your own integrity. . . of all the people you have to live with, you're the one from whom you can't escape.

well i have a few friends that are hot status, that end up with a guy that got them pregnant, now they take care the kid and no school.. and just work from grocery store or target or wal-mart.

 

That should be a "when keeping it real goes wrong" skit. Same thing with me, this girl in highschool I have always liked got knocked up and has a 3 or 4 year old daughter now. She wasn't like the previously mentioned girl at all, using looks for gains, egotistical, etc., very sweet girl. But her and another mormon super religious chick I knew [a big tatted black guy got her pregnant haha] that was very hot are both living very meager lives, going to community college part-time, work at restaurants, etc.
