How long do I wait to ask out a girl
Ok, girl i'm interested in just broke up with her boyfriend not to long ago. So i'm trying to figure out how long I should wait before asking her out.
Now the funny thing is the guy doesn't know when to quit. He keeps leaving notes on her car at work, stuffed animals etc. She broke up with him because he was to clingy and always jealous and suspicious. So he's not really helping himself here. The other little tidbit is that people who are excessively jealous/suspicious are usually that way because they themselves have/are cheating. But I digress.
So how long do you think I should give her?

Just be friends with her first, then eventually it might turn into a relationship...
but it can very difficult to get a girl to stop looking at you as a friend and more a love interest once they have you in that mindset. Too many guys try that tactic and end up high and dry. Usually while your being "the friend" someone else comes in when your not looking and steals her. There are very simple rules about what to do with a girl you want to date.
1. make her smile
2. be spontaneous, girls hate predictability and once your "the friend" the mystery and excitement is over. Hence the "bad boy" factor.
You'd be surprised out how hot a girl even an ugly guy can get if he can make a girl smile and laugh and keep the mystery alive.
This stuff I know, I'm just never sure about the waiting period haha. We need more women on this board to chime in.
no pictures? You must not have read the off-topic forum rule#27.
rule#27: anytime discussing a female eligible for dating. The poster must post a picture of said female. The picture must at least be driver license quality. It is suggested that pictures are at least 100K in size and several pictures are preferred.

It really depends on the situation. Feel it out, but I would wait a week and then ask her on a friendly date, coffee or a light lunch. The important thing is to take it slow and make her laugh. Avoid awkward conversations and if the subject of her ex comes up, avoid it like the plauge.
Remember every woman loves a man who can make her laugh.

So how long did they go out for?? I think it all kinda depends. It definetly doesn't hurt to let her know you are interested! It will really help at least get her intrigued. Worst case scenario she says she isn't ready for another relationship, so you say ok you weren't asking for a relatioship just a chance to take her out to have a good time.

This has never worked for me. Telling a girl straight up that you like her may be one of the worse thing for your future relationship.
