They have an 9.4% margin so they had the largest sales at that margin. By comparison Citi corp operates at 15.9% (thanks for your credit card business). Also thier sales $'s qualify them to be in the Top 50 GDP if they were a country.
This is a small margin when compared to many other businesses that we don't gripe about.

They also paid about $100.7 billion in taxes and kept the hundred thousand employees of Exxon fully employed. Better than most companies are doing today.

Exactly, too many people forget about profit margins...

most of the gas stations here seemed to be owned by browns lol. or philipinos.
