I know a guy that has a 500 paper-per-day route. He says he grosses $500 per wk for 14hrs of work. That's $36/hr. $36/hr normalized to full-time = $75K per year. I know like 5 adults who have paper-routes for some reason...maybe it's my area.

One of them uses an old Ford pickup and has his 2 teenagers toss papers out of the bed...I sh!t-you-not. Those kids always look so beat-down.

It takes all kinds.

500 papers a day!!!! That is crazy! what about the cost of the gas and depreciation on the car?

I called our local paper but they never called me back....i wanted to see how much you get per paper....
