How much is a Sony PS2 in Tokyo?
Hey guys,
Any of you world travelers know how much a Sony PS2 console costs in Tokyo?
Also, will it work here without adapters, and is it NTSC format? I guess the menus would also be Japanese only.
Any info is appreciated, thanks.
Dave

I bought mine in Osaka, Japan a couple years ago for about $170. I can't really remember the exact price. The PS2 works fine in the US.
Just remember to pick up a few memory cards while you are at it. And they have a ton of games you can't get in the US. (Some are pretty graphic if you get my drift)
But be careful bringing it back with you. The Customs agents made sure my PS2 wasn't a bomb and couldn't understand why I would want a Japanese PS2. Plus I got an angry East Indian who wanted to ruin my day.
(But he put his head in the backpack I puked in on a Japanese train earlier that week
Revenge is sweeet!)
