How to rip a flash file??
Does anyone know how to rip a flash file that's on a website? www.smallville.net has a map that's in a flash file. I'm trying to rip the file so I can save the image as a whole, instead of seeing bits and pieces of it. Does anyone know how to accomplish this? Thanks.
If you have a Windows computer, a copy of it may be in your "temporary internet files" folder after you have viewed the file from the site.
You should be able to find it (perhaps under a weird name but with .swf extension) in:
(Your local disk)documents and settings(user name)local settingstemporary internet files

Try this link:
http://smallville.warnerbros.com/flash_lar...ge/swf/main.swf
You can right click on it and do "Save as:"
There's always a way to reconstruct the path to the exact file. You need to know how to read the HTML files first though...
