Why do women still fawn over Burt Reynolds now? A lot of this stuff has to do with PR campaigns and people watching from afar that only see the star angle of someone's career. The assumption is that if you're in front of a camera than many many more are behind, you have some level of credibility or innate talent that 99% of the rest lack.
