Default How true is this?

I got an email from one of my customers (I think), and I did what it said and found the damn thing. Should I remove it?

************************************************** *******************

I received a message from someone that had me in their address book. They unknowingly had a virus that went out to all of the people in their address book. This virus (called jdbgmgr.exe) is not detected by Norton or Mcafee antiviral systems. This apparently stays quiet for14 days before damaging the system It is sent automatically by the messanger and by the address book whether or not you sent e-mails to your contacts. I checked, I had the virus and deleted it.
Here is how to check for the virus & how to get rid of it.

1. Go to START, FIND,or SEARCH option
2. In your files/folders option, write the name jdbgmgr.exe
3. Be sure to search your C: drive
4. Click "find now"
5. The virus has a little bear icon with the name jdbgmgr.exe
DO NOT OPEN IT!!!!!
6. RIGHT clicl with your mouse and delete it. It will go to the Recycle Bin.
7. Go to the recycle Bin and delete it there as well, or empty bin.

IF YOU FIND THE VIRUS, YOU MUST CONTACT ALL THE PEOPLE IN YOUR ADDRESS BOOK, SO THEY CAN ERADICATE IT IN THEIR OWN ADDRESS BOOKS.

OK - I'll make this easy for future reference.

Think about how many hundreds of thousands of REAL viruses are out there...

And how many times do you get email warnings about those?

Never.

The point being, in 99.99% of the cases that you receive a virus warning via email, it's a hoax. If you're still curious, the first place to go is to any antivirus manufacturers site. It will almost always be debunked there.

http://securityresponse.symantec.com/avcen....file.hoax.html

Always verify any virus warning at www.Symantec.com or www.McaFee.com.

Don't look like a fool by forwarding such email to everyone your know without verification.
