Thank gawd I never bothered to save that much $$$$ The $20k i put aside for my kids' college grew to $30k+ and is now worth slightly less than the original $20k. My 401k luckily was only at $35k but now...$27k...
I'll bet some of the older folks (or more financially able) people are really getting BURNED!!!
I know my parents net worth has dropped $300k in one year... of course a lot of that was profit from the previous year.
Why save, when I can own 5 cars and have no equity in anything!

o ya... CG - We (my father and me) are glad you found that Shogun... otherwise combined we'd have about $4k in stock instead of $20k in car!
