Looks like an S2000, TT and Z3 all hit each other so hard as to become lodged in the same body! The result? I kinda like it! Much better than the current Z3. Nice work, BMW...

BTW-Loki... do you have some links to info on the M3 with the F1 tranny - That one has 'Jason's Daily Driver' written all over it.

I like this one.
This is the car they should have made in the first place.

Does anyone know if they reworked the rear suspension on the Z3?

Loki - I had no idea they had paddles, I thought it was only sequential on the stick. Dayum, this is the real deal. A 360 Modena F1 style tranny for less than half the price. And speaking of price, and idea how much Loki? I might have to head down to the local Bimmer store and put a deposit down.

Of course the first few will get reamed so I might be better off waiting a little... what are your thought on all this Loki?

Suspension on the new e85 Z3 has been updated to use a similar setup as on the latest e46 3 series.

As for the whole M3 thing, estimates of the SMG II option is around $4-5k... WHAT A BARGAIN for what you get... shift from the paddles, shift from the stick or put it into an automode with 11 different settings for how aggressive you want it to drive.

You'll be on a long list for a car... I'm planning on selling one of mine to help finance my SMG Best to hunt around, find a list that's not too long, put your name down and get everything in writing (MSRP, what # on the list, etc). I've heard some dealerships charging as much as $10-15k over sticker, most are about $5k.

one of my deposits will probably materialize for a June production car... the other I'm hanging on until SMG is available.

I think this'll be a popular car for awhile so get on a list quick!
