Are there any T.I.T.S. in Florida? Maybe they could help you - where in Florida is this guy supposed to be?

Oh wow, was the sale for a vortech SC or some s2000 related product, i know a guy thats in the miami dade area pulling countless scams this way. Just afew safety tips for online deals or transactions...

1. Never ever send western union - this is very risky and is not very tracable if someone is scamming you.

2. Try and get a respectable 3rd party to mediate the transaction; such as, they hold the money and item and then ship the packages to the respective recepients.

3. definitely file a fraud report as the guys above are stating and file a complaint with ebay.

I am beginning to not like the ebay environment due to the number of scams increasing every day, just burns me to see someone robbed of their hard earned money.

Use an escrow service when in doubt.

Don't purchase from unverified Ebay sellers.

I had a run in with someone from Florida. With the help of some forum members we found his house, his parents house, his bank account information and a record of his current and past employeers.

Needless to say I got my money back, along with signed documentation of his negligence. Took about two months but it was a very well resolved situation.

Im sorry, and I do feel bad for you, but......how can you send someone money orders that you dont know.....3 of them....and not have any info on them?!

Contrary to everyones advice, foget about it. The post office wont be much help, neither will the police. Hope you learned something, and dont do it again. NEVER pay ebay auctions with anything but a credit card.

There's nothing much you can do. Best advice is going to that address and seeing if anyone lives there, but once you're there what are you gonna do? Sorry for your lost....
