Default i chose to hit a tree instead of a dog

i was driving home the other night going about 50 or 60. when a ****ing dog ran right in front of my car. instead of hitting the dog i slammed on the breaks and jerked the wheel to the left. i hit the curb went over it and hit 3 thin trees. what a night. the damage wasn't that bad lol my front bumper has a good dent almost crack, couple of scratches, and i need a front end alignment real bad. straight for me right now is at 1 o'clock ill post pics up soon!!

I would have ran that dog right over. Then again, a good size dog will probably do a lot of damage as well.

i'm glad the driver wasn't as heartless as you. What goes around comes around.

i love dogs too...but...
couple months back i hit a dog.. too.. i felt it going under my car as well..
the tires seem to have dragged the dog a little bit also...(wet road)
there was nothing i can do... it was at night time and raining and there were no lights on the road other than my headlights.. even at the speed i was going(30-35mph) the black dog ran straight into the car... kang! kang! kang! (the dog made painful scream as it was going under my car..) i felt shitty all day...

well if i saw it i would have at least tried to avoid it...but sometimes shit happens i guess..even if some might say they'd run right over...their first reflexes would be to avoid it...

where was this? small street near a neighborhood? i like dogs and all, but some owners need to keep a closer watch on them. if it was a stray dog then you really can't put anyone to blame.
