Seriously some of the guys from supraforums are losers, I've never seen any bunch of people disrespect every other car in my life. These guys think their cars are the best looking and fastest thing on the road, sure they might have the fastest thing down, but I would disagree about the best looking car bit. They will look down on M3's, Z06, i'v even seen Ferrari's on some, and the Stook. I think it's stupid to look down on any car especially very respectable cars like the S2K and Z06 those guys need to grow up. not everyone has $40K to spend on a 5 year old car.

 

Yeah, it is pretty sad that people have to make themselves feel better by ragging on other cars. All these great sports cars have good and bad points and we all have opinions on them but some people feel the need to judge without anything to really back it up.

What can you do though? Just ignore themn or else you just fuel the fire.

i just checked out thier forum....those SOB!! is the most BS makers in the world....a bunch of fag who won't give credit to other cars....also they talk sh*t about themselves....sad people...looking at them i hope i never own a supra.....it made me appreciate our forum more....just a thought

I actually wanted a supra years ago. Ran into a friend the other day. He used to have one of the fastest supras. It sure was decked out nice.

 

Ofcourse Supra's are amazing, It's just some of the owners that fools. I shouldn't go their anyways.

 

I've been browsing that board for over a year now. Just ignore them. Why do people with S2000s go on their board and post about the S2000? Do you just want them to talk bad about the S2000? You have to expect that. When I saw that post (about the S2000) I was like O Gosh, here we go. Just let it be. Your not going to change their minds. They want a car that goes super fast in a straight line.

Most of those guys have the biggest egos. Some of them are former domestic owners (fbody and mustang) that switched to the Supra cause either they got whipped by one or rode in one.

Two totally different cars, so let it be as that....

Would you want some of them to come on this board and talk about how great their Supra is?

Yeah, there's lots of chest thumping going on w/ the crowd in general...but like every group, it consists of some really cool as well as not-so-cool folks. The Supra really is one of the most incredible sports cars ever for <$100K, esp. after some cheap, simple, and highly effective mods. Unfortunately, almost anyone can buy one regardless of how little class they have.

I got some gentle crap when I switched from my Supra to the S2000, & attended T2K1 (Texas state Supra meet) shortly after trading. During the track day, the S2K earned a lot of admiration & respect once they saw what it could do...

Just remember, though, that supraforums is their house and you're a guest. They're obviously going to be biased towards their choice of toys. If you get agitated by what they say about the S2k or other cars, the solution is simple - leave their site!
