Just got back, they have a Dark Emerald Pearl with a Saddle Interior that looks great. Color appears to be identical to a 740IL. Just down to trade in values now.

Need opinions on the trade value of the PT Cruiser, they offered $19,500. There is no book value on the car yet.

Looks like 3 VTEC's in the garage soon!

Remember......dealers make money three ways:
1) New car price
2) Trade in
3) Financing

Also remember that the dealer usually makes the least on 1 above

Dealer is selling car at sticker, so there is ample profit inbuilt.

Trade numbers will change, if they come up alittle bit I'll probably trade the PT, if not I'll sell it myself.

Financing? I don't need no stinking financing

Munch,

I am very close to trading my '00 Accord EX-V6 for the same vehicle. I think the TL-S is a beautiful car. Honda has a winner, with this one. With a 5-speed auto, it should do just fine in the city with fuel mileage. Much better than an Accord V6.

The car may be close in color but, as you I'm sure you know, is not anywhere close to a 740IL, however.

Now that is a cruiser! I would love to own one.

John
