Having second thoughts on the TL, mainly due to slight tourque steer under hard acceleration. Went at lunch to check out a 530i. I'll never make up my mind!

Skip the 530. M5! M5! M5!

 

A 530 nicely optioned is around 45k, an M5 is the dream, but if it has the same Getrag 6 speed as the 540 I'll pass. It is like rowing a boat with bad oar locks! Coming from the S2k to test drive a 540 six speed was such a let-down.

I am very close to trading my '00 Accord EX-V6 for the same vehicle. I think the TL-S is a beautiful car. Honda has a winner, with this one. With a 5-speed auto, it should do just fine in the city with fuel mileage. Much better than an Accord V6.
