I was in the DAoC beta. It was cool, though I couldn't get used to not being able to run. Sprint was useless....but regardless I may still check it out. I ran with Da`Kor in Midgard. I had a dwarf warrior, it was fun...He dealt crazy damage. (Da`kor is one of few guilds who have awoken the Sleeper; FoH and a few others have managed it, but theres only been a handfull of awakenings)

I also used to be the GM of Prexus (Valtron) and a few other servers for EverQuest (Erollisi Marr and Bertox). If you have any questions or need anything at all e-mail me.

I'm a Game Designer for Sony Online Entertainment now and we're currently working on the expansion "EverQuest: The Shadows of Luclin." We're in the middle of a closed beta right now, hopefully that'll change.

Cool Jay I don't remember if it was you but I was in a PM conversation with someone else on these boards that was working on Everquest, airing my 'feelings' about the game heh... I had the guy at Gamestop hold me back a copy since he said he only had 2 left and he just got the shipment at around 2. I don't know how many copies that is but it's 5 now. I'll play it tonight and letcha know how I like it.

Oh and btw... the expansion packs for EQ should have been free!

I got Dark Age of Camelot yesterday and I'm sorry I spent my money on it. It has the typical RPG stuff but it lacks the 'cool' factor that Anarchy Online has. I only played it for about an hour but I'll test it out some more this weekend, then Monday I'll probably cancel my account heh... Did anyone else get this game and like it?

Oh yea, I can relate to that! A new RPG would be great. This old Russian Model is a little weather worn.--------------------------------------------------------->RPG (Rocket Propelled Grenade)!!

Sorry to hear that DAOC wasn't that good on first-impression. I guess your only other
bets in the graphical MMORPG realm is Ultima Online or Asheron's Call. I heard that Anarchy
Online was kinda cool, but WAYYYYY too buggy. Anyways, hope that you get into DAOC
more this weekend.

I hope so too... I'm very anxious to see what Shadowbane is going to do... Player built kingdoms fighting against each other for territory? That sounds fun! Building towns and stuff? Kick ass! The graphics and movies that they have on the website definately have the "cool" factor that I like. Although AO is frustrating and buggy at times it is definately an excellent idea and I'm sure Shadowbane will be too. I just don't like to be bored when playing an RPG, and the AO mission system gives me at least something to do when I can't find a group.
