i think i saw Ben Affleck today!
My fiancee and I both went to Pepperdine University in amazingly beautiful, Malibu, CA. Malibu is home/haunt to many of Hollywood's star/starlets. I think we became immune to it after a while.
some intersting stories.
1) Saw the Arnold driving his Hummers on PCH many times.
2) Ran the track above Eddie D. Field with Madonna and her huge bodygaurd nearly every week during one semester when I took jogging as my PE elective. Despite what you read, she is a very cool and down to earth lady. At least she was. Her bodyguard kind of intimidated everyone into leaving her alone but she would strike up conversation with the "regulars" and signed quite a few autographs.
3) Charlie Sheen and Emilio Estevez at baseball games at Pepperdine. Apparently, they're both huge baseball nuts (rumor is that Charlie had a killer batting cage in his Malibu backyard). Both cool guys.
4)My pesonal favorite. Running into Cindy Crawford at the grocery store. For those of you who are unfamiliar with the area, Hughes had a monopoly on Malibu in that it was the only large grocery store anywhere near the 'bu. As such, you would see lot's of stars. One weekday afternoon, my then girlfirend and I saw Cindy Crawford in jeans, t-shirt, and ball cap grocery shopping. I mustered the balls to say hi to her and she was cool enough to say hi back and make brief chit chat. Damn!!! even without makeup that woman was an absolute knock out.
5) Nick Nolte absolutely 3 sheets to the wind at the Coral Beach Cantina. This guy dressed like a homeless fellow sits down on the deck and starts ordering beer. Turns out that under the grit and grime, it was Nolte. I hear he has since cleaned himself up, but damn that dude was a mess. He looked like he hadn't been sober for a long old time.
Lots more stories. Just thought I'd share some hi-lights

I played in the Los Angeles Laker band for several years back at the old Forum. We sat about 20 feet from Jerry Buss and the rest of the owners box. Jerry Buss is a USC alumni so he also hooked us up. Every game the box was full of amazing women. Some particulary hot ones that come to mind were:
Carmen Electra in white leather pants and a white halter top. WOW!
There were always Playmates at the games but at one game in particular there where 5 Playboy bunnies all together at a table and when they flashed their Names and Months on the big screen they went nuts. One of them was Playmate of the year.
Jerry Buss always had some sweet little thing on his arm.
I can't remember her name but some famous pornstar was in the box and one of the guys recognized her. When he shouted out her name she came over and gave out autographed 8x10 porn shots of herself!
The most annoying bastard was that guy that played Carlton on Fresh Prince of Bel Air. Alphonse Ribeiro?!? He always tried to dance to our tunes and pretend he was conducting and be Mr. Big Shot, pretty much like he was on the show. We used to scream at him "Sit Down Carlton!, you suck!" What an ass he was.
Back about '95 I ran into Pamela Anderson at the LA Hilton about 7 in the morning. There was nobody else in the lobby when I walked in but this blonde in white cotton shorts and tight t-shirt talking to the one employee on duty. She looked pretty good and when she turned around "BAM" it was Pam. She is definitely (surgically) built but she doesn't look too good in the morning without all the makeup and hairstylist work.

. Ahh the life of being a student!!!!!
Dude,
I can tell yousome stories of Pamela Anderson and what they have to do to take pictures of her for her press kits. When I worked at Sony, I knew the people in publicity. We took a lot of their publicity pictures and put them into our computer system. The publicity people would tell me all the little tricks they had to do to make her look good.
