any car you want
I was wondering if it is possible to buy old model cars in brand new condition from manufacturers. I used to have a 1993 Integra GS in Granada Black Pearl on black leather that I like a lot. Given this is not a special car by any means, I had a connection with it...that is, until someone stole and stripped it. I always wanted to buy that car again, but don't know if its possible to have Honda make me one (if I were B. Gates or someone serious $$ I'm sure I could get anything I want of course). In 1993, the black Integra GS's came with Ivory cloth interior or black leather interior only. The leather interior was, of course, more expensive, and hence there are not too many of them. Very, very seldom do I see a '93 black/black leather on the street.
Your best bet is to cruise "The Auto trader" et al for the car of your dreams. A new one off would be nearly impossible to obtain. I just read an article in Car & Driverabout some Ford guys making four brand new Model T's for Ford's centennial celebration. They will go to museums and not be available for sale.
