I have a quick question. (Maybe Sondra can help me since she seems knowledgeable in the "rescue" area)
I have found a dog that I would like to adopt. I have the necessary forms and the fee is $150.
But i read in their disclaimer, "Adopter understands that any dog may be prone to medical or genetic conditions not readily evident, such as hip dysplasia, eye and/or heart conditions, etc."
I thought all the dogs were to be checked for the hip disease?!?
Can someone enlighten me on how to go about adopting a dog through a rescue organization? I don't want to adopt a dog that's going to be a cripple. No offense.
