Just thought of another idiocy that makes me really mad, that's when people drive too close behind you. Often in queues when there is no way in h**l they can go anywhere if they pass. I watched one guy destroy his own front and another persons rear while commuting about a week ago. May have given the other driver life-long whiplash injuries as well for all i know. If someone runs into me in stop-and-go trafic on the way to work i'll not be accountable for what happens next...

A friend of mine told me a little about how drivers act in Italy. It seems that there are a lot of big circles in Italy where many roads enter on the circle. While traveling in a cab my friend noticed how everyone seemed to often arrive at the same time and deftly avoided many near-collisions as they negotiated the turns. My friend asked his driver how they were all able to avoid horrendous wrecks.

The cab driver smiled and said, "We just look into each other's eyes, and we know where to go!"

That's the sign of a good driver. When you look someone in the eye you know you have thier attention. Thier not thinking about how they wanna boff..anyways, I use this technique at 4 way stops religiously, and I always feel safer. The others on the other hand may not, Even if I'm the last to stop, it always seems I'm the first to go thru. I guess they figure "this guys looking at me, it must be important. Go right ahead sir "

Funny thing is in all my years no one ever taught me this trick

I'm venting. It happened this morning. Bad fog, and some idiot is driving about 5 mph while everyone else is trying to go around at 45. Then another idiot pulls in off a side road.

If that's not enough, now Napster looks like it may be on a downward spiral.

And now another of my favorite radio stations bites the dust to cater that disco crap. Seems like virtually every station is either country or disco hits. No offense, but I like old rock. I even like jazz. But the stuff they play is driving me to road rage. Maybe thats why there are so many bad drivers out there. Good thing I have a CD collection in the car.

Oh and I almost forgot. It's been steady drizzle for a week. Poor Melissa is hiding out in the garage and I'm stuck in my slammer.
