Default Idiots and their Ipods

So this is another Scot type of thread. A rant about Ipod users. I'm writing this from marketing class. In about a class of 20, there are usually about 3 people who listen to their Ipods during class.

In the business class I had before this, we were taking a test, and this idiot shows up late, and is blasting music through his Ipod during the entire length of the test. It was loud enough that I could hear it 20 feet away!!! Afterwards the teacher talked to him about it, and told him not to do it again.

Seriously, why the fock can't someone live without their Ipod during class? Aren't you taking the class to learn something? Isn't that music at hearing-damaging level distracting you from learning?

how could a teacher let someone listen to an Ipod during a test? Couldn't they be playing a recorded copy of a text or notes?

I'm thinking it has less to do with the Ipod and more to do about the idiot(s).

If I was the professor I'd tell them to turn it off and/or kick them out.

I'm guessing some professors assume that stuff like this wouldn't be going on in college and don't think to make rules for it.

This is in college, right?

we should get a support group formed for this stuff.

Idiots at the Gym sometimes have them on so loud that I can hear the song. They will wonder why they are deaf later

.....cough...homo says "what".... ahhaha

I hate that too, especially when they eventually say something like "this is my first time playing in a casino" or something after they just won a hand. Good job Phil Hellmuth Jr. now take those fvcking sunglasses off, doucehbag!

Yeah, this is college class. I'm pretty sure that the teacher told him not to bring it again. The thing is that the guy walked in late, so I'm guessing that the teacher didn't want to make a scene because everyone was already taking the test, and I'm sure the teacher heard it was music and not a lecture.

I have already whined about people walking around all day with bluetooth headsets sticking out of their heads but no phone call. They just think it looks cool. But how about kids not just talking on the phone behind the wheel but some of them appear to be texting while they drive. I was behind a guy the other day that was either texting or dialing a 75 digit phone number.

The i-pod thing would get me but I have not witnesseed it. I might wear one while jogging, but I can't think of another time that I would use one with earphones.
