Forget about humans for just a minute and take a look at the bigger picture. Doesn't it bother you guys that the structure of Mother Nature positively requires living things to kill other living things in order to survive? What kind of twisted dream are we living anyway? I'm simply amazed that people have the nerve to believe in God, what a farce.

Sorry guys, I was making connections in my head and not explaining them on the page. To most people, the idea of an all-powerful "God" is an intrinsically good one, and I am just having the hardest time trying to figure out why an intrinsically "good" thing would create a world in which living things have to kill other living things in order to survive. I mean, with "all-power" at his/hers/its disposal, don't you think "God" could have come up with a better scheme?

Honestly, I'm not trying to understand it, I'm Atheist, I'm trying to understand how Theists miss things like this. I know St. Anselm's arguments for a "Perfect World", but still, it doesn't sit well with me.

I don't mean to turn this thread religious, forgive me if I have, I just don't understand how people think sometimes.

^^^^I hope this helps.

If you believe in a all powerful "good" God, you most likely believe in heaven. If this is the case death is positive instead of negative. Also, you most likely believe that your time on earth is a "trial"(however you want to define it) and you will have hard times.
