[rant]I cant stand it! It was supposed to be a free service. Now they are charging as much or more than regular vendors are!!! WTF!

They just lost my business! I wont pay via it or take any more orders via it. They took a 153 dollar order and knocked it down to 149.33 and thats before it even gets transferred to my bank account!

I calculate that out to be a 2.4576% hit. Plus the 0.34% to put it into my bank account! That is friggen obsurd! I urge you all to not use it either. I am using paydirect through yahoo from now on. At least its free!

Have you seen the hoops they make you go through to get your 5 bucks now!? Or have they taken that away too! It used to be so easy and really a great service. No FORGET IT!!!!! [/rant]

Im off to go ski my troubles away!(no S2000 im taking the Mercedes truck!)(dads new toy SILVER!)

Well they charge less than most credit card companies, especially if you're a small business. The card co's charge a large percentage to small mail-order companies.

And I think PayPal only charge vendors that fee when your customers use their credit cards to purchase goods, not when they use the check-free or direct debit options.

Pinky,

Relax about this. It's just the cost of doing business. Nobody who gives everything away can keep doing it for long.

Compared to many other services their costs are quite reasonable.
