First, put up a firewall and block access in and out for these programs so that you don't get anymore crap installed without your knowledge. Then you'll need to tell me specifically what you're trying to remove and we'll go from there.

I tried spybot AND spysweeper.... ran them numerous times a piece... and to no avail... I'm on my work computer right now, when I get home I'll put up the firewall. I assumed that I had one already, but maybe that was only for individualized programs. Do you mind posting instructions 3ngin so I can do so later? Currently there are 3 search bars that I knew of (after I did the spyware search, I found about 20 programs- 300 files that were floating in my system.)... the most problematic ones are "Powersearch", "oouueeiieee","SuperSearch"... The list goes on though. When I explore my system, I can find all the saved files. ...but when I go to delete them, it says one of numerous things disallowing me to do so. ...if you got some ideas... let 'em fly buddy!!!

....I just hope that SOMEONE knows how to FIX it!!!.

...or we'll be two S2ki members short. I can see the headlines now- "s2ki members are literally 'snapping' in two due to annoying spyware programs"

Ok, you can always reinstall the OS and all applications. I know it is a PAI, but it works.

As 3ngin33r1 said, without the details of what you want to remove, it is hard to help. I can remove them from my system by hand, but then again I know every process, application and dll installed on my system. Computers is where I made my living, but there is no way I can post a "How to Remove SpyWare" thread without knowing which spyware you want to remove.
