Ok, so I'm 100% ready to play F1 Championship Season for PS2, and I can't find one...

I'm tempted to just buy the PS1 version of the game, but I think the PS2 edition will blow it away. No one seems to keep the PS2 around. I thought the production issues were supposed to be eased by now.

Christ, man, this reminds me of trying to find my StooK!

The Playstation Homepage had some as of a few days ago for MSRP. Like a Stook, MSRP is pretty good.

Electronics Boutique's website (ebworld.com) has them most of the time now but they only sell them in bundles. Generally two games (they choose the games) and extra controller and memory card for $469.00. It's basically retail for all of the items, no surcharge.

If you have a fast connection, I suggest http://www.techbargains.com. Besides posting where you can buy one daily they have a PS2 Autoscan that searches the main sites for one every 15 mins.

Thanks for all of the suggestions. I think I found a local merchant that is willing to set one aside for me. I will try to go get it tonight, but the torrential rain we are getting here in FL will certainly make around town traffic interesting.

Also,

don't forget to try the Target around your way. I've made it a habit to ask at the Targets that I goto whether or not they have any in stock. Recently, there have been many yes's. ****Not that I frequent Targets on a daily basis****
