Currently I bought a used car to be my everyday car.. However, I did not done the safty&emmision inspection before the due date, and I recieved a letter from the DMV, says that I fail obtain the inspection, and ask me to return the licence and plate... the suspension date is 7/30... Now, I am wondering, is there anything I could do with it?? Or I still can to to local shop to have the inspection done without any penalty??

 

All you can do is try to get it inspected, and, if successful, submit the paperwork to your DMV and hope for the best. You might contact the DMV and just tell them you've been away or something and haven't driven the car or had a chance to have it inspected. Good luck.
