Default Clean Title???

Ok....I've heard that having a "clean title" means that the previous owner was not using the car as collateral towards anything and I've also heard that having a "clean title" means that the car has not been in any accidents....

What does "Clean Title" mean????

I would think it would be the same as a clear title. Unless you're talking about not salvaged.

A clear title usually means the the driver owns the car without a lien holder.

This question was made for me.

A clean title is practically every title. It does not make a difference whether the car has been in accidents or not. As long as the car was not salvaged it is still clean. If you put your car up for a lein on a title or not, it is still clean. Unless the title says SALVAGE or CORRECTED or TMU, its fine
