Default Internet Explorer 6 question

I recently got the IE6 upgrade and was having annoying Ads popping up every 10 minutes or so. I wasn't sure if it was because of IE6 or not, but I wanna find out if anyone else who got the upgrade is experiancing the same thing. I hate pop-up ads. Thx.

I get it everywhere. Quite annoying. But unless you just upgraded from IE 3.01 or something of the sort, you should have been experiencing those JavaScript popups ever since. Or are you just looking at the naughty sites more often since you installed IE6? =D

I don't like the way it automatically turns words like insurance company and casino into links to advertiser's sites. Is there any way to turn it off?

I don't have the ad-pop up problem ... Hmm, why's that? I wonder why ... Maybe it's gotta do with the security configuration or something? No way, I went through every detail and couldn't find anything in relation to ad-pop up controls.

you can't turn those stupid annoying pop up off. It is some stupid ad campaign from x-10 camera. They claimed that they sold more camera because of this annoy pop up. Now, almost everyone is doing it.

There is a program that automatic close any pop up windows that a webpage opens. but, one down side is you have to disable it temporarily for a link, if the link opens a new window.

You can turn cookies off on your computer and then delete all the exsiting cookies. This will take cars of most of them.
