Default Internet Explorer Problem

Everytime I try to "save picture as..." on any picture in IE I only have the option of saving it as a Bitmap. I wanna save jpegs and gifs...what do I do?

Me too! You ever get about a million internet exployer popups? Covers the whole screen and you can't even shut down. I hate that!

Save the image as a bmp. and then open up Microsoft Paint, should of come standard on your computer. Open the image and then simply re-save it as a gif, jpeg, etc.

Should work fine....

delete your temporary internet files that fixes it

Try the WIndows update and llok for the one concerning I.E. 6.0

It worked for me and I have the XP pro

Ok that didn't help... AHHH!!! Is there anyway to uninstall IE ? I am running win xp pro.
