Report my suspicion (as nothing more than a suspicion) to the instructor.

I've taught university mathematics for years, and have had students report such suspicions to me; I always appreciate it. If the student under question actually cheated, there will be evidence in his work, not merely in the testimony of fellow students.

I would double-check his answers against mine, and if they seemed more reasonable, I would change mine accordingly.

Then I'd turn his dishonest ass in.

I'd say I'd report them. I don't want anyone copying off of me.

someone actually asks that in an interview??? I wouldn't even want to work for a dickbag that asks questions like that.

"how do you see yourself in 10 years"...blaaa

I always ask stupid questions like what is your favorite tv show.......i am not very serious about much though.... those serious people die sooner than the fun people.

I think they want to see your character. There's no wrong/right answer. They just want to see how you react under stress and if you're a goodie two shoes or a good ole boy. I think it depends on the type of job you're going for.

If the mafia was asking me that question during an interview, I'd have said "cheating? I'd help him cheat".

Biggest question "Tell me about yourself" It could be the first question, or even on a walk to his/her office, but they will ask it and your answer needs to thoughtout and without appearing scripted and should give good details but not rediculous stuff that have no professional basis.

I can give you some of the some the questions that I've been asked (both for med school and residency) and some that I ask when people are interviewing for a spot at our program.
- What's your worst quality/biggest weakness and what have done to overcome/compensate for it?
- Do you prefer to take solve a problem by yourself or get others to help you solve it (relizing it may take longer to solve it by yourself)
-Name 5 people, any people (of any time period), you would invite to dinner.
-Given that health care reimbursments are being cut every year, malpractice premiums are increasing and public opinion of physicians is low, why do you want to go into this field (I challenge them on this... a lot. I won't let them give me some Halmark greeting card B.S. answer)
-Tell me about your (insert volunteer work, research, etc) I want to see if they just padding their CV or if they REALLY did what it is they put down. You'd be suprised how many people I catch B.S.ing
- (situation) You're the Jr. resident service and your Sr. resident mentions on attending rounds that hewants to do start a medication/do a procedure that is absolutely wrong for the patient. What do you do?
-Is it best to use randomized studies or anecdotal evidence to treat patients?

Hope that helps.
