its smart they did facetime only on wifi but its stupid when comparing it to android phones. Android phones (right now only the evo) can video chat with other android phones and stream live to the web. Iphone 4 can only stream to iphone 4. And the evo can stream on 3g or 4g. The A4 processor is a 1 ghz processor which is extremely fast but the new droid is coming out with a 1.5 ghz processor. And the screen is very very nice but android is bring out a new and better phone every 3 months. Ill wait for around september to pick up the newest and greatest android phone on verizon.
Verizon has no need to pick up the iphone. They are still leading the industry and with the android phones are catering to the smartphone users. And dont forget verizon has a ton of blackberry users. Its our #1 seller.
Oh and btw all the conversations ive had with corporate verizon and through our trainings (i own a verizon store) have been that for now (and maybe until 4g comes out) verizon will be keeping the unlimited plan to compete with att. We have done plenty of training to attract high data usage customers and to keep our existing smartphone users from jumping ship. Its alot easier to sell our data price now that att is more expensive.

Measuring device performance by GHz is kinda like measuring car performance by RPM.

Actually verizon normally does and then att follows.
the point is they normally mirror each other in rates. But since Verizon is NOT getting the Iphone who knows what will happen this time.

as goes AT&T Verizon follows
