Iphone vs blackbarry (for personal use not office)
So, yet another another thread about Iphone vs blackbarry comparison
which one is better for personal use, not office or cooperate
hows the following compare between the two?
- web browsing (ebay, paypal, gmail, trading stock?)
- as a PDA function (i am used to Palm OS, but willing to move on to the next bigger and better thing)
- as a phone (so talk time, standby talk, quality of reception and call)

The only one I can really compare is the web browsing. As far as im concerned, they arent even in the same ballpark. The iPhone is much like using a regular computer. Browser style is the same but your fingertips are now the mouse/keyboard. My g/f has a blackberry curve and I dunno whats going on with that browser. Its unattractive and not all that user friendly
I have a BlackBerry...that I use for work (of course) and personal use (since it's on me). I have used the iPhone too.
If I had to choose between the 2 for personal use, I'd go iPhone.
The iPhone has superb web browsing compared to the BlackBerry.
Dedicated buttons/numbers/letters is nice over touch screen in some situations...but I still think the iPhone rocks.
If I didn't work for T-Mobile,
I'd rock one.

Blackberrys are the perfect phone for email, organizing and stuff like that which usually is work stuff. Unless you do alot of that or like having email come directly to your phone with the email apps then the Iphone will probably be your best bet.
I have a BB myself and use it for both but primarily work and I wouldn't trade it for anything and since I don't use it for mostly web browsing, I can handle the internet browser since I only check sport scores or weather on it so I don't need the full screen looking capability that the Iphone gives

for personal use, go with an iphone. only reason to get a blackberry is if you need it for work and you can take advantage of its emailing, organizing capabilities, etc. thus why i find it funny how many people own blackberries, yet never use more than half of its intended features.
The iPhone is certainly more user friendly than the blackberry. I dont know that it would do well if youre looking for a lot of PDA type functions but as for everything else, I think you'll enjoy it
