the iphone imo is easier to use and has much cooler apps

 

Opera Mini makes the blackberry awesome. The stock browser is crap.

 

The two main reasons why I went with a Blackberry instead of an iPhone were 1, the price. It was just to expensive at the time. Its changed a little now since the 3G version is comming out. ($200 bucks, wow!). 2nd is my gf and I are both on verizon. I save a lot by using the free mobile to mobile. She wasnt to keen on switching over to AT&T.

Love my iPhone, i use mine for work although its my personal caues they wanted me to carry a pos crackberry i said no way!! ill carry my iPhone and you can pay for the service they agreed... woohoo

Opera Mini makes a great browser...and I agree, the stock browser on BlackBerry is crap...but I wouldn't say Opera Mini is "AWESOME."

 

I'm on opera now, thanks to that message. I never attempted to log on here with my pearl in the past because it sucked, but this is awesome! Much preferred. Thank you!

Why else would you have a phone.

 

Don't be suckered in by the $200 price for the phone.

The service plan for the Iphone will now cost $10 more a month. So if you plan on keeping it for more than 2 years you are going to end up paying more.

 

bumping a real old thread, but I figured this might be better than starting an entirely new thread. So, does anybody here use any other phones other than the iPhone or a BB? Are there any phones that come close in ease of use and the capabilities that the iPhone and BB offer? It seems like these two phones are dominating the market, but are there any other viable options?
