Iphone vs blackbarry (for personal use not office)
I've got a 3GS for personal use and a Tour for work.
I must say, iphone is the better all around tool(browser, music, games) but the blackberry is great for being a phone and living for more than a day.

bumping a real old thread, but I figured this might be better than starting an entirely new thread. So, does anybody here use any other phones other than the iPhone or a BB? Are there any phones that come close in ease of use and the capabilities that the iPhone and BB offer? It seems like these two phones are dominating the market, but are there any other viable options?

Make sure you arent using the iphone 3GS on an exchange server requiring device encryption.

also, iphone/ATT seem to accept 20-30% dropped calls (at least in NYC)

iPhone is a great device in some respects. The hardware is good. The interface is slick. It's main drawback is its on an inferior network with poor data coverage.
when I had my first gen iphone I would drop calls left and right all over the place when I was at penn state. not exactly a city, but supposedly had "full coverage" in the area.
Where I work now on the border of PA and NJ, ATT service sucks. I hear nothing but complaints from people all day long about how att and sprint service sucks.
