It's Hard Doing the Right Thing
Glad your son is alright.
I'm with you on your message to pay attention to the task at hand (driving) and leave the distractions for their proper time and place (i.e. read the map before you get on the 405 going 70mph).
Again, glad your son is ok.

Wow, I'm glad your son is okay. Seeing how the car is totalled...*sigh*
I can't say how much I hate idiot drivers
Good thing a cop was right there. I hope the guy who ran into your son gets majorly screwed.

I feel sorry for C3... he lives in Ontario, where by stats and polls, the worst drivers in Canada reside... there are also a lot of stupid drivers here in Calgary... ie the famous flying integra vs viper crash... just because the guy was showing off to his girl he nearly cost 3 lives...
wow Bill, glad to hear he's ok. i suggest that he take some advils or have them ready for possible neck/back muscle pains tomorrow. i've been through a few of those rear enders, and it's not fun

Tomorrow the adjuster takes a look at the car to assess its resurrectability.
Very glad to hear he's okay! The car can be replaced.
Saturday about two miles from home I saw a police car and an ambulance stop in front of me. When I got to the intersection there was a totaled SUV with the driver laying in the road, and a EMT laying in the ditch next to a rolled over (wheels up) ambulance. It was a very sickening sight.

I forgot to add it in earlier, but I'm glad your son is ok, Bill! Definitely be ready with the Advil, and have him go to a doc for muslce relaxers if Advil doesn't doesn't do the trick.
After one of my accidents (I've been hit so many times, I lost count after 14), someone once said to me that rubber and steel can be replaced, but a human life only happens once. I quit moaning and crying over my wrecked car at that point...
