Amen on both counts... My parents and Grandparents pray for me every day, and with the way my life has gone it's painfully obvious that I've been blessed because of it.

I always see idiots trying to race through an intersection when emergency vehicles are coming through. The cop should've given that guy a ticket for failure to yield.
He heard the siren as he was approaching the intersection. There wasn't room to pull over, so he stopped in his lane before entering the intersection. Apparently the high-schooler behind him didn't hear the siren and only saw the green light.

He's a bit sore this morning, but all-in-all doing fine. He started on Aleve yesterday (Thanks, Mingster!) which I'm sure helped. He'll pop off to the doctor today just in case.

The car's been totaled. My wife picked up a rental yesterday, and now we have to go looking for a replacement. The only upside to all of this is that the rental car smells strongly of perfume or cologne (no doubt to cover the smell of cigarette smoke) which my wife knows will give me a headache pronto, so I have to drive the roadster the rest of the week. Ah, the sacrifices we make for our children!

This morning our son was on his way to school.
