Just back from the DC Car show
Because I'm a hopless car geek, I go tothe DC and Baltimore car show. They are
both third tier car shows and they get show cars from two years ago. Yet, I go anyway.
Observations.
* The Koreans make some nice cars at an even nicer price. I really like the Elantra GT 5 door.
* Love the WRX Wagon
* I know it's too heavy, but I think I'd take a Z8 over a 360. I have a front engine bias.
* Lord, do people like trucks. It seems like there are more each year.
* Buick wins first prize for the fakest fake wood trim.
* I saw the Caddy CTS. How is that Hyundai can get better panel fit that Cadillac?
* Porsches are WAY, WAY, WAY overpriced. $98k for a 911 Cabrio; they are headed
for some tall weeds.
* I wish Toyota would offer a turbo for the MR Sypder. Turbos are back guys, get with it.
* They had a Panoz LMP there to get some buzz for the National Grand Prix, I love
that race car. I think I may like the AMLS more than CART.
* $40K for a FWD turbo Saab Viggen? Are they high?
