Shortly after Zing my black S2000 I noticed some crows carrying on above my car on the garage roof. They would jump off the roof and fly (one at a time) over my hood and try to stop in midair flapping their wings like crazy. Turns out they were looking at themselves in the reflection off the hood. Go figure! That Zaino stuff works.

Well, I'm not so sure this is a good thing. Those birds keep hanging over the car and you are going to get the chance to really see how well Zaino protects....

 

Which Ziano product do you use? Seems if you can make a bird go to the lengths to premeditate an attack on you car you were doing something right.

I'd like to get my black that way too.

 

I have used:
Z1 pretreatment
Z2 polish
Z5 scratch remover polish
Z6 gloss enhancer
Z7 wash

The tire stuff is really neat too.

The "inventory" that Sideways has seems to be the best. I've used the stuff for three years now and love it, would not try anything else. My car is white, but I bet the key to a good black finish is the Z5. Also, pay plenty of attention to Sal Zaino's recommendations on towels. Just because they say 100% Cotton, doesn't mean it. Must say "Made in USA". My neighbor and I experimented on the hood of his dark green Explorer before he traded it in. We used Z2 on the hood, but applied and removed half with a cheap towel and the other half with a good towel. The clear-coat spider effect was terrible on the cheap side while the other half looked like new.

The leather products are fantastic as well as the plastic polish for the back window.
