what ever happened to less than leathal force.. ie: taser, peper spray. officer could of also shot to wound, instead of aiming center mass..

You're rather stupid. It's easy to say after the fact, but imagine being the police officer. You've just been blindsided with a fkin BAT. This big kid, 6ft 250 pounds as the article said, is coming at you again to bash your face in. At that point it was a life or death situation for the police officer. He was already dazed, and he was trying to save his life. Don't be so ignorant.

that guy had maybe seconds left to live. the first blow could have very easily killed him. Another blow or two would have killed him for sure.


its sounds like to me...you have never been in a life threatening situation...you probably have never been injured with a weapon of any kind and are basically the kind of bleeding heart that criminal defendants love to have on their juries.

I would like for someone to hit you just one time in a "safe area" of your body with a baseball bat so you can feel the devastating pain it causes. Take one to the shin (just a light tap or glancing blow with it) and tell me that is not a lethal weapon.

That guy is better dead now than later. Can't imagine how many more people he will hurt in his lifetime. Too many bad people are still alive while the good ones are dying.

Any kid with a mindset to bring a bat to a police officer's head is more f**ked up than you think. If someone so young is capable of doing that, what else can he do in the coming years? A contributor to society is not one of them.
