Trust me, it's HARD to break a Lefty fork. Like I said, my buddy did it basically at the request of the local Cannondale rep (my buddy owns a shop that sold Cannondale). My friend rides North Shore type rides and 15 foot drops are not unusual.
Any "normal" owner of a Lefty would likely NEVER come close to the forces his fork endured.
