I'm waiting until the next S2k beat a Corvette kill story to spread more of my wisdom.

What about you? Ever been to a real drag strip?
All I got to say about you guys is that the truth hurts and it's never been so obvious.

Anyways, I am a Si owner. I have a 1999 MY and the factory color was EBP. Right now the car is being painted Arancio Atlas, one of the 2001 Lamborghini Diablo colors. When I bought my Si back in the early part of 1999, I had no idea that the EBP color would eventually be all over the place and I had no idea that for the 2000 MY they would more than triple the output of EBP Si's (I would have bought black if I had known).
About two months into the sales of the 2000 MY, I began to realize something. The Si was getting a bad name. I came to the conclusion that the bad rap was due to the owner's attitudes. It seems that the majority of Si owners are two things, extremely ignorant and very arrogant. There's nothing wrong with appreciating a car and voicing an opinion about it. But to become blind as to every other car's qualities and attributes is just irresponsible... and sad.
I hate that I have to constantly defend and prove myself to other car enthusiasts because of people like you. I hate it.

well said knowledge well said. I definitely never judge people by their car because that's just ridiculous, but I see where you are coming from. I wanna see that SI of yours with the lambo color on it, when is that going to happen?

Thanks. Hopefully before Christmas it will be done. Tripple wet sanding, painting the door jams, etc. make it take a little longer. Plus all the cold (cool to the rest of the country) fronts coming in have been causing rain. I believe it will be worth the wait though.
