Kodokan_4, I'm calling you out.
Kodokan_4, what kind of racket are you operating? I sent you a cashier's check over three weeks ago, and I haven't received my seat locks yet. How hard is it for you to put 4 bolts, a key, and lock tight in a box/bag and ship it to me? It's not hard. I've shipped things before. Even if you don't think you're running a business, by the shear fact that you are taking people's money and sending them product in return means that you're running a business.
Now you may be asking, "SpacemanBrent, why are you so upset?".
Well dear readers, I'll tell you. One week ago today, on 8/16/2011, I discovered my car with it's top slashed, the seats stolen, and the dash ripped. I had my car for a little less than a month, and I had already been ripped off. Over the following days, I've dealt with the police and my insurance company. I pleaded with the insurance company to not total my car, and of course, the police haven't found any leads. Luckily, my insurance company is giving me the full value of the loan. Now, I'm on the hunt for a new car. I'll most likely get an S2000, but I'd like to get the seat locks that I'VE ALREADY f@#kING PAID FOR first.
So, here's to you Kodokan_4. Since you're the only person who is selling McGard seat locks, the rest of us have to buy from you, and in the mean time, paying customer's are getting their seats stolen because you can't be bothered to ship product or answer PMs on S2KI. Send me what I've paid for.

If you read the Seat Locks thread;
You would know that
A) This is a side thing for him
B) He says he's been uber busy lately [with his primary obligations]
C) Like 40 posts of people saying delivery was slow, but they got them.
Why are you assuming he has any in stock? Perhaps he's low on inventory, perhaps he's awaiting shipment? Perhaps they're en route as we speak. If you had done 2.5 minutes of homework before you sent a money order, you would have very well been aware of a lag time as of late [perhaps even due to inventory issues].
Also,

Vendor depending; this can be incredibly difficult... due to other vendors.

You're assuming that I wasn't aware that delays were normal with this individual. I knew this, but going on four weeks is absurd. The least kodokan_4 can do is reply to the multiple PMs that I've sent him. Which he has yet to do. Furthermore, if he was out of stock of this item, he could have told me this when he replied to my first PM about buying the locks from him. It's simple customer service.
If you were to buy something from me that I had in bulk, you would be notified on my initial response if I was low on stock and that you needed to order soon. Furthermore, if I had received your payment, and I was out of stock, I would've notified you that I was out and that more were being ordered. Lastly, if you had sent me further inquiries, I would have responded with a status update. Remember, I already have your money. Why would I be this diligent? Because I don't want people to think I'm shady or trying to steal money from them.
I would do the above even though it's a side job. It's being a good businessman, which kodokan_4 obviously doesn't know how to do. My anger could have easily been mitigated by better communication.

These production problems can be mitigated by proper planning. I've worked for a manufacturer before, I've seen how well things can run. And if there's back order, then you need to notify your customers. By the shear fact that kodokan_4 has taken my money means that I am his customer.
