LanEVO VIIs has way more than 280 at the crank; more like 320. Japanese manufactures cannot state more than 280ps. Regardless, it'll be interesting to see where the detunement takes place, hope the internals of the 4G63 stays the same.

We'll most probably get a detuned version of the EVO 8. Hopefully the new 6 speed gearbox will be ready by then and we'll get the new front fascia with the EVO 6 style foglights. Anyways, it's going to be awesome!

Well they finally have done it
The problem I have now is that Ford may build the GT40(Jan Car and Driver).
I want a GT40 more than an EVO VII and the wife won't let me have both.
If Ford builds the GT40 when will it happen? 2 or 3 years???
Oh well, I guess I can call some Mitsu places and try and find a dealer who will sell me and EVO VII for list and get on the list. Hopefully Ford will make up their minds about the GT40 before the EVO comes in.
