I'm here on San Jose the land of plenty. On our day trip to Los Gatos today we saw two Ferrari Modena's (red of course) one parked and one cruising along in 1st gear growling like a lion waiting to pounce, what a sight you guys have way too much money out here in California.
I have but one question, why are there so many homeless people here? Its like the capital of the homeless.

It is well known that San Francisco and San Jose have extremely favorable policies for the homeless. Even with the abundance of shelters and other services, there are still people on the streets.

It's a catch 22. Since the city is "homeless freindly" many of them come here. What is a city to do? I live in the Santa Cruz area and the same problem exists here.

As for the land of plenty..yeah, this is why I moved here. When I was a young lad growing up in Texas, I was dreaming of the day that I could see a Porsche or Ferrari. I recall visiting California when I was not yet in High School. We had friends in Palos Verdes. While driving around there, I could not believe the number of exotic cars cruising around.

Now that I live here, I am still amazed sometimes. In the business park where I work, there are always a bunch of exotics. I mean Porsches almost seem "normal" in the lot. On any given day there are 6 Porsches, a few Ferrari's, Vipers, new S-Class Mercedes, and of course 3 S2000's. Still I am not immune to exotics. When the Turbo S (there are 2) or the Modena (there are 2), or a 550 Maranello (there are 2) show up, I still walk over and oogle at them. There's a guy with an F40 in my neighborhood and I also see Testarossas with regularity. I love cars....

Finally, you know that Los Gatos is home to Ferrari of Los Gatos. There are always a bunch of Ferraris cruising in the vicinity. That dealership has 30-40 Ferrari's in stock at any given time it seems.

Only been to CA once (Santa Barbara and LA in the same trip). Lots of nice cars, for sure.

I never liked the Ferrari F40, though. Pretty ugly, IMO.
