My girlfriend and I saw Ron White (our favorite comedian) this past weekend, and he's a trip, very good live.
The thing I don't understand is that some people, including my girlfriend, want to see comics do old stuff when they see them live, which is just weird to me. I could see if it were a musical concert, I mean, it's a different experience than what you're used to, but once you've heard a joke and know the punch-line, it's never the same, so re-creating the experience on stage is always less-powerful than the first time.
Anyway, Bill Cosby's "Himself" is still the benchmark for me.
