remember in the olden days when people would write a letter on paper and send it? When was the last time you did that?

not sure why i was thinking about it earlier..... you just never get a written letter any more..... my hand writing is horrible to boot...

hand written... dont think i could want to do the skillz thing to read it. maybe 10years out since i wrote anything like that.

I still do some thank you cards written and mailed. My mom and most relatives have email now, except my dad, who I usually call instead.

One of our long time members here on s2ki.com had a parent that went to the hospital. I visited the hospital, spent some time with them and brought a small houseplant...about 3 days later, I received a very thoughtful, handwritten thank you card. You don't see that everyday...which makes it even more special.

I try to send a handwritten thank you card when I can...I will make more of an effort in 2009.
